Here is a resume for a chimera signing up to be a watchman:
Out of three learning styles, auditory; visual; and kinesthetic, I am 37% kinesthetic, 37% Auditory, and 25% visual. I would like to consider myself kinesthetic because I don’t like to remember things but I still can remember things very well.
The book Ender’s Game by Orson Scott Card, is about a boy named Andrew Wiggen who lives with his kind but distant parents, his brutal brother Peter, and his beloved sister Valentine. After living with his family, Andrew, nicknamed Ender by his sister Valentine, gets drafted into a military school and he hates to go. After many fights with other leaders he becomes a great leader himself. does he get strong enough to defeat the alien race called the Bugger? Grab this book of a shelf and find out yourself.
Even though some parts were confusing, I thought this book was a great read. My favorite part of the book is the very end and how he shows so much affection for what he did. My least favorite part is when. Peter said that he would kill Ender when he was older. I would have made more interaction between Peter and Ender. My favorite character in this book was Bean. Bean is a small kid that Ender taught and became great friends with. Bean is my favorite character because, even though he was small, he was able to do amazing things.
I would recommend this book to anyone who likes action, adventure, and affection all put together. Out of all the books that I have have read I would rate this book as an eight out of ten.
The netbooks are finally here and I love them. They take all the
pain from hauling big books from class to class. There are usually
three books that I have to haul to English and literature but now
that I have a netbook this year, I only need to bring my netbook to
class. It even gets easier if you have a carrying case. Also when you
have free time you can play around on the Internet or with
something on the computer. I am so happy to have these
netbooks.
